
Since my Discipleship Training School (DTS) in September 2004 I have been serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM),
It was during my DTS I believe that the Lord placed it upon my heart to invest my life in managing a home for children from across the world. This will be a place of refuge, a place to call home where children will know and experience the love of God the Father.
In June 2006 I left YWAM Montego Bay to attend Teachers for the Nations Jamaica (TFNJ) at the Stone’s Hope campus in
This course trains missionary teachers to use the Bible as the core curriculum of every subject. This is known as the Principle Approach.
For the past two consecutive years I have been teaching the grade six class at Bethel Christian School which is apart of the ministry of YWAM Jamaica.
This time in their lives is a crucial as they are being prepared to make the transition from primary school to high school. This year is also when the students sit the national exam called the Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT). This exam is based on these subject areas: Arithmetic, Science, Language Arts and Social Studies. The exam will be given on March 25th and 26th.
One of YWAM’s foundational stones is going to the nations. This coming March I will be going on a missions trip to
